Bourbon vanilla from Réunion.
Bourbon vanilla, one of the type of vanilla, is taking its name from Réunion that was formerly the Île Bourbon. This term doesn't embrace only the vanilla produced in Reunion but also on Indian Ocean islands such as Madagascar, the Comoros. Anyway, Réunionnais claim that vanilla from Réunion is of higher quality than for example this one from Madagascar.
Please have a look at these photos taken at vanilla plantation in a forest of Réunion Island.

Postcards from Réunion.
Located in the middle of the Indian Ocean about 200 kilometres
south-west of its nearest neighbour, Mauritius, Réunion has an area of
2,511 km2 and is one of the overseas department of France. This
tropical island was formed about 3 million years ago by two volcanos “Le Piton des
Neiges” and “Le Piton de La Fournaise” where the last one is still active. Réunion is one
of the most beautiful islands in this ocean. Veritable, tropical paradise with a
unique blend of French and local culture. Please have a look at some photos
that I took there.
