World Cup emotions

I love watching people's emotions that relfect on their faces. That's why I took my camera to one of Warsaw's pub where there was match between Germany and Spain. Fantastic german team-play failed this time with spanish determination to win. Here below some pics from this exciting event.

Eggman project

During workshops with Tomek Sikora, well known for art and advertising photography, I was asked to participate in "Eggman project". The idea was to take a photo of Eggman against the interior of the building that the workshops took place in. Here below my photo-proposition which apparently was close to idea of Rene Magritte, belgian surrealist artist.

Postcards from Sicily

Sicily is an amazing italian island although sicilian residents want to be called first Sicilians, then Italians. As the island was ruled through ages by Asians, Africans and Europeans, Sicily has this multicultural vibe. Depending which part of this land you are in, history seems to look at you from each corner of the street. But no matter where you stay, the great food and the sun is always with you. Here below some pics from my trip around Sicily.

Dutch Windmills

The Netherlands is so closely associated with windmills, that it's often the first fact people recall about the country. The Dutch built windmills for many centuries. To some extent, the windmills built the country itself, since without them much of the land drainage (like 40%) could not have occured. It's about 1150 remaining windmills in the Netherlands. Here below some pics depicting this amazing home-construction:

The Belgian Comic Strip Center

During my last visit in Brussels I went to the Belgian Comic Strip Center in order to get back to one of best known belgian comic strip character - Tintin. But this kingdom of  the imagination is well know also for other Belgium's comic stripe heros:  Spirou, Bob and Bobette, the Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Asterix and many more. Here below some photographs from this trip:

Spring time at countryside

Going at countryside made me thinking about presenting spring time through my camera. I'm not very keen in taking photos of nature but this time I found another life in the grass. Please have a look at this "jungle's life".

You don't need to support your president to be shocked with his death. Besides, there were so many important officials on the plane that crashes this morning in Russia, that you feel like you would lost someone from your neighbours. Photographes below reflect Krakowskie Przedmieście street, just in front of the presidential palace the day before the plane crush and today 10.04.2010. Two pics  that show so little and so much at the same time.

Bednarska street

This morning I was visiting my friend Ola who is french teacher in one warsaw high school. It's located at Bednarska street which I find one of the most interesting streets in Warsaw. Covered with cobblestones, this street preserves the vibe of old Warsaw. Here below some pics taken this morning.

italian menu

Visiting one italian restaurant with my friends, I was positively surprised with PERONI Beer "Nastro Azzurro" in the Menu. Its falvour is ideal for such a "beer fan" as I am.
So, cheers!
