Cathedral in Rouen
Rouen Cathedral is one of the most impressive Gothic churches ever built. Its western façade is the largest of any church in France. It was famously painted by Impressionist artist Claude Monet in a series of 28 paintings showing the façade at different times of the day. The paintings are now spread over the world with five in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
Don't forget that the dukes of Normandy were traditionally
crowned here and several are buried in the cathedral, including the heart of
Richard the Lion Heart. Also, Joan of Arc was put on trial in the bishops’ palace.
Please see some photos of this glorious gothic building that I took during my last stay in France.

Christmas time in Paris
I've always wanted to see Paris during Xmas time. Christmas decoration gives this city a special vibe. Each year, window displays of such department stores as Galeries Lafayette or Le Printemps start being designed long time before Xmas in order to draw attention of many tourists or even Paris' citizens in December. Please have a look at this set of photos taken during this festive time in the City of Lights.
